Feel-Good Media from my Family to Yours

Hey guys. It’s Daijah of DaiDreamer here with an inspirational (Mental Health Awareness Month related) post for those of you struggling with schoolwork, family life, or life in general. I understand those feelings and I just want to say that your pain is valid. Today I would like to share with you a list of things that cheer me up when I am down. One of those things is a three minute YouTube video put out by YouTuber Jamie Grace.

Another video I listen to when I am feeling sad is a video coincidentally by Jamie Grace’s sister, celebrity poet Morgan Harper Nichols.

Okay, guys, as much as I would like to go on sharing YouTube videos with you, this post is not exclusively about videos.

The next thing I would like to suggest to you is a Nintendo Switch game called Pikmin 3.

This is the deluxe version of the game originally released on Wii U. And, you guys. It. Is. Super. Cute. Me and my siblings love to play this game together. My nine year old brother has played through it at least five times and we play Bingo Battles excessively every time we check this game out from the library.

The next thing I would like to share with you is one of the most refreshing musicals there are on Disney Plus right now.

Cinderella. Guys, are you yawning at me? Come on. Have you ever even watched it before? Just try it out. Please, for me?

Next on the list is a children’s podcast called Kid’s Corner. Guys, I love this show and my brother listens to it whenever he can. It teaches biblical lessons relevant to us all and is funny, well-produced, and spiritually moving. I promise you’ll feel the same after the very first episode. I also suggest checking out the YouTube video adaptations, Galunkapets.

That concludes my list of feel-good media. I hope this list cheers you and reminds you that you are loved. Seek God out during the hard times. Pray more, talk to Him more, and enjoy the gifts He gave you, including your siblings, if you are blessed with those. If not, ask some friends over or see if your parents can spare a few minutes. I hope you feel better. You can get through this, whatever you’re going through.

Thanks for spending your valuable time reading my blog. I appreciate it. If you know some other tweens that could benefit from this list of feel-good fun, please send it to them. God loves you, even at your worst and still has a plan for you.

‘K, bye!
