Z’s Picks: Reads for Tweens

Hi, my name’s Zaela. I’m Dai’s little sister, “Z”. Dai said I could make a post ’cause she’s nice like that. I just wanted to talk about my favorite books and books I’ve been reading lately.

One of my fave books are The Mighty Miss Malone.

It’s a book about a girl during the Great Depression. I can’t give a summary without giving away the whole book.

The next book is actually an entire series. The Babysitter’s Club.

I mean like every girl knows what this series is about but if you don’t it’s about a group of girls in middle school who start a babysitting buisness. I think it’s fun and it’s one of the main things I read and check out from the library.

The next thing is the Honest June series and The Prince Warriors series.

I really like Honest June. It’s about a girl whose fairy godmother “blesses” her, as she says, with the ability not to lie. There’s two books in the series so far and another one comes out in April. The series may sound silly, but it’s really fun.

The Prince Warriors is alright. It’s not one of my faves, though. It’s a Christian fantasy series about four kids. It’s kinda hard to explain, so just look up a summary, okay?

This is the second to last book. I just got finished reading this with my mom. It’s from the TrueGirl series and it’s called Yuzi’s False Alarm.

It was really fun and teaches you a lesson on revenge. This is a really fun book to read with your mom and has a girl gab at the end.

The last book is another TrueGirl book ’cause I’m a TrueGirl. I’m also reading this with my mom.

It’s called Lies Girls Believe. It’s not exactly fun, but it’s helpful.
