there are times when we will let ourselves down

I am not perfect. It’s the reason why I need a relationship with Jesus. I’m one of those types of people who feels deeply, and on top of that, someone who takes the blame for all. So when I make mistakes, it hurts and disappoints me so much.

I know that I’m not the only person who feels that way, and it can be a very low and depressing place to be. But I just want you to know that the pain passes and with time, even just a minute, the mistakes are in the past. There might be consequences and there might be healing that needs to take place afterwards, but you can get through it.

The best part about mistakes is that we can learn from them. Mistakes hurt. They really do. But there’s nothing better than learning. It’s the hallmark of human existence. It’s the way we avoid making future mistakes.
