I’m taking a little break

Hey guys; it’s me, Daijah. Today I wanted to let you guys know that I am taking a break from weekly posts until September 5th. I am taking this break because I need some time to reevaluate why I am writing this blog or if it is really God’s plan for me to continue writing it. One thing’s for sure though. I’m here for you guys always, in heart and mind.

I’m looking forward to the changes that will come to me during my break in August.

I think a lot of people fear change and sit in an uneasy silence when they’re in a season of change. Instead of crying and feeling disappointed at God’s direction in my life, I’ve been trying to really understand God’s tugs and pushes. I might be in the midst of change, but I’m learning to focus on the things that are the same: light coming in through the windows, my siblings laughing and loving each other in simple ways, my feet that have walked me through years and years, and God’s love that will continue to be here through happy and sad times. There is a time for everything, and if this is my season of change, then I assume that someday there will be a season of constancy. I have reason to believe that change is God’s way of preparing us for greater.
