These cookies do resemble vanilla Oreo cookies at first glance, but the cookie, rather than being a shortbread texture like Oreos, instead is quite crispy and hard to bite through. If you squeeze the cookie too much, the filling comes out of the sides. It is very hard to do that with an ordinary Oreo. The flavor of the cookie might be vanilla, but if it is, it's completely drowned out by the allulose, a sweetener used in these cookies that is derived from raisins. In conclusion, if you love raisin-flavored cookies disguised as Oreos, Catalina Crunch vanilla sandwich cookies just might be your new favorite snack.
