What posts have been your favorite this year? + some announcements for 2023

Hey, guys! It’s Daijah; welcome back to or welcome to DaiDreamer, the blog created for tweens (children from ages 8- 14) by a teen whose had some real experience in the world of media. This year has been very eventful for me (and likely you too), beginning with the launch of my blog in April, deliverance from a major book drought and a mindset of fear and doubt, and the beginning of a freedom resulting from of a new step I’ve taken in my faith– Bible journaling.

Following along with this pattern of growth, I’ve decided to take a few steps in DaiDreamer‘s growth. Don’t be worried. While DaiDreamer will be changing, it won’t be different from what it is now. It will still be a hub for tweens and it will still be about all different sorts of media. So, this list will be a list of positive changes taking place.

1. I want to change the layout of the DaiDreamer blog, beginning with the colors. I’ve noticed that the blog looks as if it is geared toward girls, which is not the case at all, so I want to choose a layout that would look inviting to both girls and boys.

2. I want to have a chance to share more of my interests with you guys: my art, my kitchen escapades, etc. There are a lot of things that I am interested in that you guys don’t even know about. Therefore, I’m starting a new page on my blog called DaiDreams (clever, isn’t it?).

3. Expect two posts a month, maybe three, from now on. Now that I’ve gotten a good start and released some twenty posts, I feel as if I can relax a bit and have more time to work on quality posts for you guys.

4. I want to interact with you guys. I want to know some of your favorite movies, books, songs, and stuff. I also would like to hear from you guys simply to know that my work is appreciated. Therefore I’m setting up more polls and pushing even more for some comments.

All and all, DaiDreamer is going to be going through some drastic changes this year that will make it even more of the place I’ve always dreamed it could be for you guys. But to make the blog even better, I need you guys’ help. ‘Well, what do I need to do?’, you ask? All I need you to do is leave a comment below telling me which posts have been your favorite this year, or go to my Home page and vote on the “What kinds of posts do you want to see more of?” poll. Keep in mind that you don’t need an email to leave a comment, but be sure to ask your parents before you post one. Once something’s on the internet, it’s hard to take back.
