Dare to be a Positive Thinker

If I said life was easy, I’d be lying, but if I said you can’t enjoy it when it’s hard, I’d be lying even more. Being a Christian, we were given strength no one in the world has– God’s Word. Recently I read Norman Vincent Peale’s The Power of Positive Thinking, and in it, he highlighted some ways to get positive and stay that way. It turns out the Word of God is one of the most powerful weapons of doubt and fear. God’s Word releases power and gives energy and heals broken thought processes. That book is filled with stories about people who accept that fact and live on it; it’s truly beautiful.
You as a child (or a parent) have that power, too. Really truly. Learn to dwell on verses rather than on your own thoughts. I’ve been learning Psalms, myself. I recite Psalms 23 so much– and every time it brings me peace. I have been really focusing on being at peace and keeping my thoughts positive. I’ve been happier, more open, and have so much more to give to others.
Parents, I suggest you read this book so that you can fully understand the power of positive thinking. Teach it to your kids so they can teach it to their kids. So that they can be blessed and be a blessing.
Until next time.
Keep on dreaming.
